Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, NY, TX)
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries within 24 hours
- Oversee garnishment processing and benefits administration (401k, health insurance)
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for executive review
- Implement process improvements using payroll analytics tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll system expertise
- Proven knowledge of CA wage & hour laws and federal tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and payroll software proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
