Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and year-end reconciliations (W-2s, 1099s)
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and benefits administration
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Lead payroll system upgrades and process improvements
- Prepare payroll reports for executive leadership and external audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent ERP proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state-specific payroll laws
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven problem-solving skills with 100% audit accuracy
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
