Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees across 15+ jurisdictions with 99.8% accuracy
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and year-end reconciliation using ADP Workforce Now
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks for DOL and IRS regulations
- Develop process improvements reducing payroll processing time by 15%
- Train and mentor junior payroll specialists on system operations
- Collaborate with HRIS teams on employee data integrity initiatives
- Prepare quarterly payroll reports for executive leadership review
Qualifications
- 5+ years of US payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or comparable HCM systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal/state wage-hour laws and FLSA requirements
- Proven experience with garnishment administration and tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in SaaS or fintech environment preferred
