Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations including CA labor laws
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with precision
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll-related projects
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports for leadership
- Support year-end processes including W-2 preparation and 1099 filings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Expert knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or SHRM-CP preferred
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Deep understanding of CA payroll tax regulations and labor laws
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with garnishment processing and compliance
