Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Lacerte) for compliance and analysis
- Conduct tax research and resolve client inquiries
- Assist in audit support and documentation preparation
- Develop expertise in specialized tax areas (e.g., S-corps, partnerships)
- Collaborate with senior advisors on complex tax strategies
- Maintain strict compliance with IRS regulations and firm standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of tax or accounting experience (students welcome)
