Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now for 300+ employees
- Calculate and garnish wages for tax levies, child support, and wage assignments
- Administer 401(k) contributions and manage year-end reconciliation processes
- Prepare quarterly tax filings (941, 940, state unemployment) and W-2 distribution
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies through audit trails
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and termination processing
- Maintain compliance with federal/state labor laws and FLSA regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification preferred
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll software
- Strong understanding of FLSA, garnishment laws, and IRS regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
