Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 150+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollment
- Generate payroll reports and reconcile payroll accounts
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Utilize ADP and QuickBooks for payroll processing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Expert knowledge of CA payroll tax regulations and garnishment laws
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- High school diploma with accounting coursework required
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
