Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including FLSA and WA labor laws
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with 100% accuracy
- Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax returns and year-end W-2/1099 forms
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and payroll policy updates
- Generate payroll reports for executive team and external auditors
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent SaaS platform expertise
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and QuickBooks
- Deep understanding of FLSA, WA labor laws, and payroll tax regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven error rate <0.1%
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environment
