Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Process payroll for select clients with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
- Manage and organize financial documentation and digital records securely.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
