Apex Financial Solutions is currently looking for a dedicated Night Shift Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team in Sacramento, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions during our night operations. Responsibilities
- Process and manage high-volume accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Process payroll for night-shift employees accurately and in compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and file necessary financial documentation and tax forms.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM or 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in financial data.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
