Responsibilities
- Execute nightly financial closing procedures, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
- Review and verify daily journal entries for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze nightly financial reports to highlight variances.
- Assist the finance team with month-end close activities as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial data and sensitive records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with high precision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during night shifts (typically 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to error-free reporting.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap with the day shift team.
