Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities using advanced Excel modeling and SQL queries
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with actionable insights
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and forecasts aligned with strategic goals
- Conduct variance analysis between projected and actual financial performance
- Support senior leadership with ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Maintain accurate financial databases and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or consulting environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex formulas) and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data to diverse audiences
