Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Conduct internal audits of financial records to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting processes and cash flow management.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
