Responsibilities
- Process and code high-volume invoices with a focus on accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely payments.
- Manage the AP general ledger and assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Conduct audits of accounts payable records to maintain internal controls and audit trails.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing issues, invoice status, and payment terms.
- Utilize financial software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) to maintain up-to-date financial data.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reconciliation principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
