Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Process bi-weekly payroll and manage tax filings for the night shift operations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with high accuracy and minimal supervision.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, trial balances, and variance analysis.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules and financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM EST/MT).
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
