Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate records, reconcile accounts, and ensure all journal entries are posted correctly.
- Compliance & Audit: Assist in external and internal audits, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization within the accounting department.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Software: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial data with high accuracy.
