Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) for senior management review.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist with annual tax filings.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide requested documentation.
- Streamline internal financial processes and implement best practices for financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, with a focus on full-cycle accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
