Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with rigorous reconciliation procedures
- Develop and implement streamlined accounting systems to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with audit teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Provide strategic financial forecasting and variance analysis for executive decision-making
- Manage tax preparation processes and optimize tax strategies for corporate clients
- Mentor junior accounting staff and oversee workflow distribution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel modeling
