Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Manage financial audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Mentor junior accounting staff and oversee team workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Proven expertise in UK GAAP and IFRS compliance
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel (including VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong background in financial reporting and audit coordination
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing accounting teams and processes
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
