Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assess the creditworthiness of potential borrowers using established risk models and financial ratios.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendation reports for the credit committee.
- Monitor the performance of existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of delinquency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the internal credit management system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or commercial banking.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and spreadsheet software (Advanced Excel required).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
