Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance reports.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and create rolling forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting (Part-time or contract experience is acceptable).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions like VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and Macros) and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and persuasive tone.
- Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy in data entry and report generation.
