Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and creditworthiness of commercial clients
- Prepare detailed credit risk reports and recommendations
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on underwriting decisions
- Develop and maintain credit risk models and scoring systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Present findings to senior management and credit committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in credit risk software (e.g., Moody's, Sageworks)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis
- Credit certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with remote collaboration tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
