Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for commercial loan applications
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal credit solutions for clients
- Ensure compliance with federal lending regulations and internal policies
- Develop financial models and cash flow projections for complex transactions
- Present findings and recommendations to credit committee members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling)
- Credit certification (CRCM or CMB) preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP, cash flow analysis, and debt service coverage
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong quantitative reasoning skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
