Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit analyses and risk assessments for commercial and industrial clients
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure credit facilities that balance risk and growth
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FDCPA, FCRA) and internal policies
- Present credit recommendations to senior management and loan committees
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in commercial credit analysis or underwriting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, credit risk frameworks, and banking regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Professional certification (CFA, FRM, or CRCM) preferred
