Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial and consumer credit applications using financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry benchmarks
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with actionable recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current with regulatory changes (FICO, Basel III, ATR/QM)
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and risk matrices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Financial Modeling)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE) strongly preferred
- Expertise in analyzing S&P 500 and mid-market financial statements
- Proven track record in loan portfolio risk management
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex credit decisions
