Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and business performance metrics for credit risk evaluation
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early warning signs of deterioration
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit risk
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for stress testing scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, and credit scoring software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance (FFIEC, Basel III)
- CFA or FRM designation preferred
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills with attention to detail
