Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees bi-weekly using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws and FLSA regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions with precision
- Respond to payroll inquiries within 24 hours and resolve discrepancies
- Conduct quarterly payroll audits and reconcile accounts monthly
- Implement process improvements using Excel macros and Power BI
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll tasks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent expertise
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and payroll reporting
- Knowledge of FLSA, DOL, and multi-state tax regulations
- BS in Accounting/Finance or HRIS certification preferred
- Experience with garnishment processing and year-end reporting
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
