Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth creditworthiness evaluations for commercial and industrial clients
- Analyze financial statements, market trends, and industry risks to recommend credit limits
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and portfolio risk assessments
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning indicators
- Develop and maintain risk mitigation strategies for high-exposure accounts
- Stay current on regulatory compliance requirements (FIRREA, OCC guidelines)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE) preferred
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and debt service coverage
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex credit portfolios
- Experience with credit risk assessment tools (e.g., Moody's Analytics, FICO)
