Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with 99.9% accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Prepare month-end/year-end financial statements and regulatory filings
- Implement and refine internal controls for audit compliance
- Lead QuickBooks enterprise implementations and process improvements
- Collaborate with CFO on financial modeling and forecasting
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and multi-state tax regulations
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven track record in financial controls implementation
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) designation preferred
