Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Assist with month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support accounts payable/receivable functions and vendor management
- Conduct financial audits and internal control assessments
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for transaction processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Document accounting procedures and maintain organized financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (CPA/CMA) or pursuit thereof is a plus
