Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll and ensure tax compliance and filing deadlines are met.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track and categorize transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and account status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
