Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Maintain organized financial records and document processes for auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial workflows and reporting.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of GAAP principles and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
