Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.7% accuracy rate
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage multi-state payroll processing for 15+ clients
- Oversee sales tax compliance across 3 jurisdictions
- Implement QuickBooks cloud optimization projects
- Lead month-end close procedures with strict deadlines
Qualifications
- 5+ years bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online/Enterprise
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Expertise in multi-state payroll processing
- Proficient with Intuit solutions and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
