Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple companies
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and maintain internal controls for compliance
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 4+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero
- Payroll processing certification (ADP/QuickBooks Payroll)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication and client management skills
