Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process payroll for 50+ employees using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare financial statements and quarterly tax filings
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash management
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and KY tax regulations
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) required
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines
