Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with attention to detail and deadlines
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for diverse clientele
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance filings
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Conduct month-end closing procedures with audit-ready documentation
- Provide financial insights to clients through regular reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in payroll processing (ADP experience a plus)
- Proficiency with MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of managing multiple client portfolios
