Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse SMB clients using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Coordinate with CPA firms for quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain organized digital filing systems in compliance with GAAP standards
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and software workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification
- Expertise in payroll processing and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex formulas)
- Proven track record of meeting month-end deadlines without errors
- Strong communication skills for client relationship management
- Familiarity with construction or professional services industries preferred
