Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements with P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts and process payroll through QuickBooks Online
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and maintain vendor relationships
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance and audit readiness
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and financial reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Expertise in payroll processing and multi-state compliance
- Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- TN CPA license or equivalent experience considered
