Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow
- Prepare monthly financial statements and budget reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Oversee bank reconciliations and month-end closing
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and California tax laws
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
