Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
- Manage client financial reporting deadlines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
