Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and send accurate monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure tax compliance deadlines are met.
- Process payroll for small to medium-sized businesses using industry-standard software.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date general ledger systems.
- Assist with annual audit preparation and support the tax department as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites in Tucson.
