Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions with meticulous attention to detail
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual reporting periods
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting workflow efficiency
- Support audit preparations by compiling financial documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and Nebraska tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, CPB) highly desirable
