Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 500+ healthcare accounts
- Resolve complex billing disputes and insurance claim denials
- Analyze A/R aging reports to optimize cash flow
- Ensure HIPAA/GAAP compliance in all billing activities
- Collaborate with clinical teams for accurate charge capture
- Implement process improvements using Epic EMR systems
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and best practices
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in Detroit metro area
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and NextGen billing platforms
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding standards
- Proven track record in reducing claim denial rates below 5%
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Experience managing high-volume Medicaid/Medicare billing
- Ability to thrive under quarterly revenue targets
