Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform accurate monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Process payroll and assist with quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries comply with GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
