Responsibilities
- Perform daily general ledger entries and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed correctly.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and external audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP and internal company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or finance environment.
- Must be available and willing to work the night shift (typically 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
