Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Ensure GAAP compliance and SOX audit readiness
- Lead quarterly tax preparation and filing processes
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial forecasting models
- Mentor junior accountants on best practices and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-tier firm
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and NetSuite
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization capabilities
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and remote collaboration abilities
- Experience with SaaS or tech industry accounting preferred
