Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly and annual financial closing process.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Conduct month-end and year-end audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
