Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Prepare and generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support as needed.
- Monitor cash flow and provide insights to management regarding financial health.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
