Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable, specifically during the night shift.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card statements monthly.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using QuickBooks and Excel with 100% accuracy.
- Process payroll for the night shift workforce and verify time sheets.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports to support decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies immediately.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
