Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Process payroll for multiple clients with precision and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data and generate reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and general accounting practices.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
